About
LY Contemporary is an artist-run exhibition space located on the island of Møn in southern Denmark. It was initiated by Ingunn Fjóla Ingþórsdóttir and Helgi Vignir Bragason, and is operated by a non-profit association led by a board of artists with diverse experience in artistic practice, curating, and institutional work.
LY Contemporary focuses on contemporary art practices by artists with connections to Møn, in dialogue with the international art scene.
LY Contemporary is housed in a former farm building on East Møn, previously home to the well-known store and candle workshop Ympelys.
